Boating season is here again and we have a fabulous theme cruise planned for our members! Join your BCYC friends as they explore the southern Chesapeake and "time travel through the last century."  PLEASE register by May 18 for all or part of the cruise.  Your hosts must give a final count to the caterers so please respect this RSVP date. If you can only come for a day or two, please do, as we would love to have you join in on the fun! 

You should already have your slip reservations.  If not, please, please, please contact the marina and tell them you are with BCYC.  If there is a problem contact Colin Soucy at 410-353-5610.

Reminder:  Unless otherwise stated you are to provide your own drinks, including water, to the daily events. The club (hosts) will buy/provide ice at the marinas.

NOTE TO NEW & REINSTATED MEMBERS:  When registering on-line to attend events, your member partner (spouse, co-boat owner, significant other, etc.) is a "Guest" for the purpose of registration.

Return to childhood of the 1950’s….Reminisce about the good old days and enjoy dinner based on comfort food from the Better Homes and Gardens cookbook: meatloaf with potatoes and all the trimmings. Appetizers, sides, and dessert included.

Suggested attire: Blue jeans, white T-shirts...Mickey Mouse ears or coonskin hats optional

Relive the 80's again Blues Brothers style on the Rhode River wear your dark sunglasses while enjoying the hits from the era.  Your hosts Bob and Gail and Jamie Ritter will provide a cookout with burgers and dogs, cole slaw, green salad, crudités, seven layer dip, and dessert.

Walk over to Lowe's Wharf for a fun afternoon and evening.  Note that this destination is also accessible by car and has a motel on premise.  Order beverages and food directly from the menu at Lowe’s Wharf.  Two best costumes will win a prize.

Time: We will aim for early anchoring and/or raft-ups around 1pm and start to dinghy to the public wharf around 3:30.  Fifteen minute level walk to Lowe's Wharf complex. After supper and possible games we will walk to dinghies and head back. To Rock ONNNN... or fade away - by hitting the hay!? 

Suggested attire: Outfit yourselves like hippies/greasers/ or whatever you looked like in the 60's or 70's (are we easy or what?).

Travel back to the 90s when Wall Street was roaring and we were all working hard, saving and investing our $$ so we can be the boaters that we are now! Walk from Brewer's Oxford Boat Yard to the nearby Tred Avon Yacht Club and come upstairs for cocktails followed by a seated dinner. Dinner includes crab cake, braised short ribs, spinach salad, sides and dessert. Cash Bar.
