Air Mobility Command Museum - Open Cockpit Day
When: Saturday, August 17th Where: Dover, Delaware Hosts: Gary & Pamela Budesheim
Open Cockpit Day provides the public full access to many of the museum’s aircraft from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. if weather permits. Tour guides are stationed in the open aircraft to describe the history of the planes and their missions. They are often retired crew members of these airplanes so their descriptions are from personal experience and bring the aircraft to life for visitors. We will assemble at the Budesheim’s home at 10:30am and car pool to the museum. There are inside and outside exhibits and there is a chance to tour the old control tower. Lunch will be served at the Budesheim’s home when we return. There is no cost to tour the museum. Lunch cost $7 per person. Limit 14 Deadline for registration August 13th Directions from Annapolis will be provided upon registration
